In the Acorazadas (2010) installation a hundred nickel sculptures claw their way up and climb rhythmically among glinting metal. The chrome finish of the nickel and the sharp spikes contrast with the dark, rough interior that catch the light. The piece is named after the film Battleship Potemkin (1925) by Serguei Eisenstein.
