Aeolia (2010) is an installation consisting of copper- and gold-plated maple seeds that generates a streak of light on the wall that changes throughout the day. The natural overhead light in the gallery interacts with the sun’s path, to create an ever-changing impressionistic atmosphere.
A result of work collecting material in nature, each seed interacts in the installation as a whole through its internal circular motion, at the same time as it moves with a desire to fly and be transformed.
