A photograph tryptych with drawing intervention forms the work, Enbalsamatuak (2019). In the work a series of “organs stripped of their body or shell” are shown with a white pointillist drawing around them, that frames their essence. The act of drawing becomes an act of mediation and liberation, in an act that links up with beliefs and myths, and recreates an atmosphere in which these organs are “weighed” before crossing over to the other side.
