In the three pieces, Sima, Sima vertical & Sima horizontal, (2015), the abyss is beautifully enticing. In Sima (2015) the underground appears through an otherwordly fall, the concept of a hole is mixed with the concept of the mouth, as the all-consuming organ of destructive nature. Mouth and abyss represent the junction of two worlds, interior and exterior, bringing new life to numerous links to the world underground, the hidden world.
