In the context of the Reno Tahoe International Art Show 2025 –RTIA Show– organised by Xabier Irujo –director of the Centre for Basque Studies in Reno– “Zirriborratu” (2025) is being exhibited, an artistic intervention project on the landscape of the Gulf of Naples coastline by Basque artist Pilar Soberón, which takes the form of a series of photographs with intervention. The project is being shown for the first time in ‘Echoes of the Basques’ Reno, in the United States, in the ‘Basque Feature’ section of the RTIA Show 2025.

The “Echoes of the Basques” exhibition is being held from 10 to 14 September 2025 at the Reno Sparks Convention Centre, Reno (USA), and brings together the works of Basque artists: Alex Urciniega (USA), Joan Arrizabalaga (USA), Leire Baztarrica (Spain/USA), Zoe Bray (USA), Josette Dacosta (France), Arantzazu Urkijo (USA/Spain), Kepa Mann (USA), Pilar Soberón (Spain) and Iker Zubizarreta (USA).
